SYNOPSIS

REVIEW

Beautiful Darkness is the 2nd book to the Caster Chronicles. I have to be honest, I did not enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed the first one. In this second installment, Lena gets in touch with her darker side.. which means she steers away from her family and of course, Ethan. Not wanting to hurt them, she separates herself from them. She somehow “accepts” that she will be a dark caster just like her mother, Sarafine (who is the most powerful dark caster alive!).

Ethan tries to pull the sense out of her and persuade her that she is not who she think she is..that she is not at all “dark” While doing this, he discovers the town’s darkest secrets, including underground secret passages (which was very cool btw ;P) and the town’s past…which is somehow related to him and Lena.

*There is also Ridley and Link. Somehow the ending made the whole book interesting again.. hope the next installment would be better 🙂

A good read, but I must say that I’m a bit disappointed with it.. I expected a greater plot for this.
